RSS is all about simplifying the way we view and digest content on the Internet. Web pages are typically multimedia experiences, with multiple columns of images, text, and advertisements. An RSS feed of a page strips the information down to the bare essentials — usually the main text content or main images without the hassle of ads. That means you can follow any websites you like be it news, tech, health or whatever you want without the ads that saves your precious data. The main advantage is that you need not search for the news(or whatever you need). They will come to you..
But RSS feeds are not much used today because of the popularity of Social networks. But we all use Instant messaging apps. My idea was to convert these RSS feeds to IM. But searching the internet, I couldn't find any support for popular IMs like WhatsApp, Messenger etc. But I found a way using an IM called GroupMe by Microsoft. Even Skype is supported. But I find GroupMe to be simple and easy.
Requirements :
1. IFTTT account ( Signup here no need of app )

If you don't know what IFTTT is, then read on. Otherwise skip to Steps.
IFTTT is a free web-based service that allows users to create chains of simple conditional statements, called "recipes", which are triggered based on changes to other web services such as Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. IFTTT is an abbreviation of "If This Then That".
Steps:
1. I like to follow online deals, So I follow this site using its RSS feed URL
2. Create a Group in GroupMe with you as the only Member. Choose an icon if you need it.
3. Subscribe to this Recipe in IFTTT with the Feed you require and the content of the Message and the group which you have created just now.
4. You can crate multiple groups and subscribe multiple feeds by adding this recipe again and again. IFTTT is a free service.
5. Just wait a few minutes. The recipe will be triggered once a new post arrives in the site and you will get message in GroupMe.
